A 6 nations Alliance on the Refugees Crisis
Cultural Institutions, Universities and NGOs from Germany, Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine consisted a partnership for an intercultural activity in 2016-17 with the aim to face the refugees crisis and to spread the values of mutual understanding and respect the Human Rights of the Refugees. Youth from 5 Mediterranean countries will be taught how to create a short documentary about and for the refugees through cinematographic and art workshops.



















The project  will be implemented with the organization of three intensive workshops in each of the participated countries. 25  youths in each country will be selected through public calls  in order to consist the production teams of 10 short documentaries-2 per country. The cost of the project is approximately 50.000 euros .The partnership has till now secured 8.000 provided by the Goethe Institut Athen which will be also the distributor of the outcomes .




The project has been submitted for financing to Anna Lindh Foundation. Leader in this initiative is StoryDoc, Greece partners are Yasar University ,Izmir ,Turkey,Theater House, Lebanon, Palestinian Young Filmmakers Association, Palestine, NGO Women in Action, Jordan.
